Don't laugh. I have become completely addicted to scrapbooking. As soon as I put Audrey to bed, I rush downstairs to cut and paste together the story of her life in pictures. You can see my radical progress by flipping from the beginning to end of my incomplete book. I even went so far as to buy a scrapbooking magazine at the grocery store tonight. Oh the humanity! What's happening? I'm so into it and it's only going to get worse. (At least I'm getting better at it.) Here's the spread that I just finished tonight. It's my favorite so far.
I mailed Jen's shower invites the other day, so check your mailbox ladies. Oh, and spread the word....if you know of anyone that wants invitations made...I'm your woman.
UPDATE ON BA-BA-GOO:
and we're still waiting for her to give us a belly laugh.

And I might end up permanently cross-eyed for trying to make her laugh. I should just invite you over to entertain her, I would get a faster result.

Don't be ashamed of your scrapbooking skills. I'm jealous! I would love to do something like that, but I don't have a creative bone in my body.July 22 2005, 13:27:02 UTC 6 years ago
Re: jen
Well, if you decide, after the baby comes, that you need some inspiration- we could get together and do some scrappin' together. I'm always looking to be a bad influence on my pals.Anonymous

I was thinking you could get really technical with it and have an audio file of one of Audrey's little toots. Baby Ben next door is like a little motor boat. It kind of scares me to hear such a massive toot come from such a tiny baby.Your scrap book looks amazing! I knew when you got pregnant how lucky this kid would be to have a mom that would document everything in such a creative and beautiful way. Don't be embarrased at all about scrapbooking -- it is awesome! Have you been to Michael's and their massive scrapbooking section? I have started making them for my parents and aunt as presents and the response has been pretty great, so keep on pasting MC SCRAP.
Now for more serious matters, when in the HELL am I going to see that baby? "Whar's that baby? Lemme take a PEEK-A-LOO!!!!!" Get your ass over here with sweet cheeks soon!
